There are five 2020 Kia Optima models and two additional hybrids available to meet your needs. Turbocharge Your Drive

There are a few different engine options for the new Optima. Each offering a unique driving experience, the 2020 Kia Optima SX and EX offer a different turbocharged engine. Engineered for efficiency, the EX comes with a 1.6L turbocharged engine and a seven-speed, dual-clutch transmission.

The Kia Optima SX has a 2.0L turbocharged engine packed with performance. This Dual Overhead Cam, 16-valve four-cylinder engine produces 245 horsepower with 260 lb-ft of torque. Standard on the SX model are steering-wheel mounted paddle shifters and a sport-tuned suspension for a spirited driving experience.

By combining an electric motor and a 2.0L four-cylinder gas engine, the Optima Hybrid produces over 270 lb-ft of torque. The six-speed automatic transmission shifts the hybrid with efficiency. With an EPA-estimated 45 MPG on the highway and regenerative braking to charge the motor’s battery, you can enjoy a cleaner drive. For those seeking an all-electric operation, the Optima also offers a Plug-In Hybrid option.

Loaded with safety features, the 2020 Kia Optima offers driver assistive technology to keep you and your passengers safe. Blind-Spot Collision Warning detects vehicles in your blind spots and comes standard on all trims.

Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go is available and offers drivers assistance in traffic. In specific situations, this technology can bring the vehicle to a complete stop.
